From 8 March 2021, Céleste Jacq has been employed in a newly created position as Head of Genomics at Blue Analytics.

She has solid experience in molecular and diagnostic genomics from her previous job as a researcher in Nofima, which conducts industry-oriented research and development in aquaculture, fisheries and food. There she has been engaged as a partner, work package manager and project manager in various research projects and assignments for the aquaculture industry and wild salmon management for ten years.
Céleste has also been a laboratory technician and teacher of aquatic chemistry at Deakin University in Australia, and thus has a practical and educational experience from laboratory work.
She holds an Honors Degree (BSc. Hons.) in Aquatic Science and a PhD in Evolutionary and Population Genetics from Deakin University in Australia.
